Robert Allen Gau

Robert Allen Gau, age 71, passed away at Akron General Hospital, Saturday, April 11, 2020 after a short illness with complications of pneumonia.  He was born August 11, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Donald and Mildred (nee Dobbs) Gau. Robert is survived by children, Kris (Kimberly), Brian (Deanna) and Tammy (Jon); grandson, Zach Weigel; sister, Judy (John) Hart; nephews, Ryan, Roger, Jeff and Mike Hart and a host of cousins and friends. Robert served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard and had a great passion for sailing, but most especially spending time with his loving children and family. A private service will be held at a later date with inurnment at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, Wisconsin.
