Ethel M. Whipkey, age 90, passed away March 15, 2019. Beloved mother of the late Janet Whipkey Polevacik (Allen), the late John Whipkey (Donna) and the late Kenneth Whipkey (Irene). Devoted Grandmother of John S. Whipkey (Miranda), the late Daniel Whipkey (Caryn), Jennifer Jones (Brian), Rebecca Whipkey, Michael Polevacik (Carissa), Mary Wiseman (Chris), Emily Gurd (Steve) and Kathryn Polevacik. Cherished Great-Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend to many. Friends received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the GREGORY P. GODORHAZY FUNERAL HOME, 4801 Memphis Ave., Cleveland. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 am Friday, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Brooklyn, OH 44144. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
