William Albert Wenger, age 79, passed away April 9, 2017 at his residence. Born December 23, 1937 to the late Raymond and Betty (nee Dreyer) Wenger, he was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, working and retiring from The Plain Dealer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline (nee Gottschalk) in 2011. He is survived by son, Daniel (Deborah) Wenger; daughter, Beth (Bob) Blanc; grandchildren, Ashley and Kylie Wenger; brother Carl (Shelia) Wenger. Private family services.
